The Hunter Family

The best sessions involve lots of toddler laughs, being in a creek at sunset and blowing dandelions. So basically, everything about this session. Arianna is a little adventurer and just loved being by the creek. So obviouslyyyy, we had to end the session in the water.  Can you even handle how cute this family is with each other?! Enjoy some of my favorites!

The Bilous Family

These are my kind of people. These three (and a half) are so dang sweet and caring with each other that it doesn't take much to create a perfect session like this. And if that's not enough to impress you, they also came equipped with super hero gear! At the end of our session it began to rain so what did we do? We hopped in the creek and got the most gorgeous Mama/daughter portraits. I think the world of this family and can't wait to meet the new little miss soon!

Charli - Cake Smash

I promised myself I would stop giving so many pictures in galleries. Thennnn Charli came to the studio and their gallery has 200 some images… I mean do you blame me?! This little girl has a BIG personality and I can’t just throw away the portraits of all of her cute little looks!  Miss Charlotte (obviously) is a dream to work with. As long as we have apple cinnamon cheerios nearby, she’s golden.

Charli’s mama described her style as simple - I can dig that ;)  So we kept everything pink, soft and classic for her session. Can we talk about the tutu Jacquie made for Charli?! And her handmade chalkboard sign?! I already told her I need to hire her - Haha!  My favorite part about this session (besides Charli’s constant adorable faces!!) is how the best portraits were completely unposed and natural.  Cuddling with mommy and daddy, throwing cake in the air, her undeniable bond with her awesome big sister, and the looks I would get from those big, beautiful green eyes.

THIS is why I specialize in Cake Smash sessions. They’re everything I adore - babies, cake, fun, and sweet moments all rolled up into one! Enjoy some of my favorites from Charli’s Cake Smash session.

The Shanahan Family

Many, many years ago I went to the same church as this lovely family - Zach was in diapers and I knew Mr. Shanahan as "Mr. Keith" as he taught our Sunday School class.  Fast forward 20 some years later and here I am!  Their personal family photographer ;) Last year I had the funnest senior session with Zach and I had the privilege of photographing Tyler & Lindsay's first pregnancy/beautiful baby girl. Now I got to work with the whole gang! After a day full of Mini Sessions, I was pretty excited to see them because I knew it would be an easy/fun hour. And also becauseee I got to see that beautiful baby Miss Harper!!!!  Look at her sticking out her tongue!  Enjoy the Shanahan's autumn family session.. it's so die for!

Rohen - Newborn Session

Rohen is SUCH a stud.  From the big blue eyes to this chubby little belly to his beautiful tan skin.  I mean, whoa. This kid should be in magazines. Rohen's parents did a great job of providing ideas and themes for Little Man's session. Maybe a little too good of a job... their full gallery took me days to edit, it's so large! Rohen didn't mind though. As long as he was cuddling with mom and dad or laying on his favorite team gear, he was happy as could be.  Rohen's dad is a Northern Wrestling coach so I LOVE that he lifted his head for the shots with his dad's gear! And can you even handle his grumpy face (in picture with dad) or how he is casually posing by leaning on his hand (in picture with mom and dad)?!?  What a natural. Enjoy some of my favorites from Rohen's session!

Charlie + Zoey

I hope you guys can handle the cuteness that is this little family! I kind of adore the tot stage and the reason for that is because they are so carefree and adventurous; they find everything interesting and are always exploring. Take that x2 and you have the makings of an adorable (and fast paced) session. Charlie and Zoey are BEAUTIFUL just like their parents. I mean it. Even editing these pictures I could not stop "awwwing".  They wanted their picture taken for a whole 2.2 seconds and then they were off on a grand adventure and me, mom and dad just followed along for the ride.  I have to give props to mom and dad - they were the foundation of this session. They could wrangle a wild Charlie who wanted to climb fences or a hungry Zoey who just wanted her gummies with the biggest smiles on their faces. And these kids adore their parents. Once they were tired of traipsing around the Fort Hunter property they were ready to snuggle with mom and dad.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! Here are some favs.

Zook Family

Sooo I wouldn't say it was the best conditions for this session. It was drizzling here and there, humid & super dark. When I scrolled back through the images afterwards I was so relieved -- the weather might not have been perfect but this family sure was. There was so many cute moments between the kids and their parents and lots of playtime action shots. I absolutely love these guys and hope they are as thrilled with these as I am :) Enjoy!
