Colin + Chelsea - Engagement

THESE GUYS! <3 I had SUCH a good time laughing, exploring + getting poison ivy with these guys! We were so worried about the weather leading up to their session but the sun came out + it was the perfect day - they SO deserved it! Chelsea had such cool and interesting photography requests (helllllloooo, gorgeous sunset on top of a peak!) so we took a hike to get those for her! We also played around with some gorgeous blossoming trees + laid in some flowers. SO romantic, these two! Colin + Chelsea have an obviously fun, easy-going and loving bond and it was a great time capturing that for them. If their engagement pictures are this good, can you imagine what their wedding is going to be like?! Enjoy some of my favs (even though I wish I could post them all!)

Nick + Amanda - Engaged!

So once upon a time, I was still shooting outdoor sessions in January…. crazy, right?! Nick + Amanda definitely bit the bullet on a breezy, cold but beautiful day + it was absolutely worth it. These two were terrific to photograph even when clouds were rolling in around us. Nick + Amanda are genuine, fun + relaxed around one another - what more could a photographer ask from them?! And I gotta say, I loveeee Amanda’s sweet laugh, too. Only a few more months until their Big Day! Enjoy some favs!

Quin + Karly - Engaged!

These two managed to have a sunrise session on the iciest day of the year (extra props to Karly for wearing heals for half of it!) and still ended up with an incredibly beautiful gallery. We started their session at the Harrisburg Capitol building.  Boy, was that an adventure. If you look closely at the ground Quin + Karly are walking on, it was a compete sheet of ice. But we caught some beautiful light so it was well worth it. Next, we headed to Fort Hunter where we captured a cute baseball save-the-date + even got down close to the Susquehanna River where it was completely frozen over. All in all, these two were troopers. You would never guess while looking at their gallery how cold they were + they totally rocked their session with smiles on their faces.   Now to patiently wait for September! Jim + Hannah - Engaged!

I just ADORE these guys. So much that I traveled to Philly for such an exciting session with these two! The Franklin Bridge, Philly skyline, some incredibly beautiful walls, + the street corner where they had their first kiss all make an appearance in this eclectic session.  I’ve gotta say - I LIVE for sessions like these where my couples trust me to push the limits with creative posing + unique spots.  Jim + Hannah are so in-sync with each other and it shows in their posing. Natural, soft, loving <3They also had me laughing hysterically (I won’t mention any drunk stories, Jim) and feeling like I was hanging with friends during their session. I’m counting down the days until I get to photograph these two become husband and wife. They are already 2017’s power couple in my book! Enjoy some (or many) of my favs.

Ryan + Janelle - Engaged!

We waited for the perfect weather for Ryan + Janelle’s session and with the slightest overcast skies, we got it. Janelle mentioned a beautiful spot where she had hiked in the past and it served lots of unique spots - including a “beach”! Ryan + Janelle are the sweetest together and were a breeze to photograph.  I wish every session were this *easily* perfect :) Can’t wait to photograph their Big Day - so soon!!!

Kevin + Alyssa - Engaged!

Kevin and Alyssa are two of the most beautifully compatible people I’ve ever worked with.  Their chemistry was undeniable to photograph. Kevin was always doting on Alyssa, gently playing with her hair and ready for the kissing poses… but mostly he was completely hilarious and had me dying of laughter their whole session and what made it funnier was how Alyssa would go right along with his jokes. Not pictured below are the shots of him trying to dunk her into a pond and him sucking on her hand (however, I did have to post at least one blooper collage of his hilarious faces).  Alyssa is one of my favorite people and it makes me happy to see her with the perfect partner. I also work with her sister quite a bit so I have a bit of a soft spot for her and her family ;) From the fun details I’ve heard already, I’m impatiently waiting their Big Day (lets just say, I will be eating as much “cake” as I can shove in my mouth).  Thanks, Kevin and Alyssa, for being so stinkin’ fun to be around. Tim + Laura - Engaged!

If I am to get up at 4 in the morning for anyone, I’m glad it was Tim and Laura. These two are a super fun (and hilarious!) couple that have the most amazing chemistry to photograph.  Between playing with cats (our little friend makes an appearance in a shot below!), chasing the sunrise, dodging dead fish on the riverfront, and splashing around in curiously warm water, I forgot that I was actually working and not hanging out with friends.  Their wedding in October is going to be a favorite of mine - I can tell already. Anthony + Robyn - Engagement Session

It is currently hailing/raining/snowing outside but I’m in Spring mode over here.  Anthony and Robyn’s session was windy and a bit chilly but that didn’t stop them from being the sweetest couple to photograph.  I’ve said it a million times - you can’t pose chemistry like this.  I was so giddy over their images as I was taking them - a beautiful couple in some unique new locations is my Heaven. Steven + Brittany - Engaged!

Let me tell ya, I love watching these two (Sounds creepy... but I'm a photographer so I'm allowed to say that).  We met at a beautiful park for their engagement session and the way that Steve dotes on Brittany melts my heart. He also buys her crazy awesome boots (seen pictured)!! This was one of the most beautifully "autumn-colored" sessions and I'd say their outfits were pretty on-point for the occassion. Thanks so much for going along with my crazy ideas and breaking some rules with me, guys! Can't wait for your wedding next year!!!  Enjoy some favorites of mine.
