Evan + Danielle - Married!

I could write a novel about Evan and Danielle and their wedding day butttt I know two very excited people who are ready to see their gallery.  So I will keep this short and simple.

It’s very rare to find a person that is genuine, good-hearted and honest in this day and age.  I was lucky enough to find that in Evan years ago and was even lucky enough to be his friend. And now, fast forward almost 10 years, and I am in awe that a woman as incredible as Danielle exists. Even more so, that such beautiful people were able to find each other.  This wedding was simply beautiful - it wasn’t loud and flashy. Even with downpours the whole day, no one was stressed. This wedding was truly about family, real love and the celebration of two of the best people I know becoming one.

(On a side note, while you are scrolling through these portraits I’m sure you are going to be thinking things like “Wow, these too are so freaking good-looking!” like I was. And the best part about that is Evan and Danielle are so humble, that they don’t even know how beautiful they are inside and out. So make sure to give them some love in the comments section!)

Evan and Danielle - it was an honor to photograph this day for you and it’s an honor to know you. Now go have some gorgeous babies so I can photograph them!

Enjoy lots of my favorites!

Andy + Jenn - Married!

There are certain people that just deserve the best weather on their wedding day.  That was Andy and Jenn. They had been so excited for their Big Day just for it to downpour from morning until evening.  I drove to Jenn's parents' home thinking to myself, "I don't care if it's raining - we're going to rock this wedding and I'm going to make sure these pictures are perfect for them."  If Andy and Jenn ever stressed about the weather, I didn't see it. They were so cool and calm and happy.  Aside from the weather, things were just perfect. Jenn had hand painted beautiful decor and The Cellars was the neatest venue. This day was FULL of priceless moments - the moment Jenn walked down the aisle and the look on Andy's face, Jenn's first dance with her son Gavin, Andy's first dance with his mom when he shared some exciting news, & heart wrenching toasts from the MOH and Best Man.  The rain didn't hold Andy and Jenn down and the result was an incredible day. Andy, Jenn and Gavin - I am so blessed that you chose me to photograph your wedding day and journey as a family. I cannot wait to see what is in store for you. Until then... enjoy! :)

Scott + Lauren - Married!

Before I graduated from college I had met Lauren at a birthday party. How crazy is it that now I am posting the images from her amazing wedding a few years later?!  Scott and Lauren are just about the cutest couple you will ever meet. There is no question how much love they have for each other. It's pretty obvious from the handmade details and sweet notes to each other how important this day was to them.  I could go on and on about Lauren and her dad's special relationship, the tear filled speeches, the beautiful crafted decor, and the venue... but what I took home with me that night was a warm, happy heart because I could just feel how right these two are for each other. And the pictures we got - oh my gosh - they will be hanging in my studio, without a doubt! When I was informed that they would be having a large bridal party, I, like most photographers, winced a little. However, like Scott and Lauren, their large bridal party was easy going, gorgeous and great to work with. The night was also made easy by the fact that everyone there was ready to have some serious fun. The dance floor wasn't empty all night (especially thanks to three cuties that are also the ring bearers and flower girl ;) )  I promised myself I would start making these blogposts shorter .... but.... maybe next time. Enjoy manyyy favorites from Scott & Lauren's wedding day.

Ken & Danielle - Married!

It was a beautiful day for a wedding.  I woke up SO ready for this day. I had worked with Ken & Danielle before and they just make my job so, so easy. They had a sweet ceremony at their Catholic Church surrounded by friends and family and ending with a bubbly exit to their limo. Next we headed to the Hershey Country Club (one of my favorite places to shoot!) where we snagged some canvas-worthy bridal party shots on the golf course. The new Mr. and Mrs. Martin and I slipped away to the Hershey Mansion for some intimate portraits on the famous grounds. Lastly, their reception -- this group was SO much fun. Even Danielle and her dad's slow dance turned into a crazy rockstar dance off for the whole crowd to join in.  I could go on for days about this pair. There is just something about the way they look at each other and the way they are always belly-laughing when they're together. Enjoy some favorites from their beautiful day xoxox

Calvin + Jacqlene - Married!

It is so very important to "click" with your couples when you are a photographer. When I do wedding consultations I try get a gist of my couples' personalities, things they don't like, what they are most looking for on their wedding day.  Consultations usually last up to an hour. Calvin and Jacqlene?  3 hours. My mom, who was babysitting for me at the time, thought I had been kidnapped and murdered but I assured her that I was just having way too much fun at my consultation.

Aside from learning about Jacqlene's coffee obsession, Calvin's poor timing with the movie "Marley & Me" & these two's incredible school and work ethic, I also took from our time together their ever-growing love for God, their friends, their families, and of course, each other.  This wedding was one that can only be explained through the endless pictures of hugs, tears, and belly laughs that I am about to share with you. Calvin & Jacqlene are truly a match made in Heaven & a gift to everyone who knows them.

I also have a special place in my heart for people who cry a lot on their wedding day -- what can I say? It makes for awesome pictures! I hope I can even give you an ounce of the happiness I felt on their beautiful day with this blog post of favorites. The amount of love put into this wedding shows in the details.  And even though I still don't know what "hard style" is, I'd say this wedding was a mega success. A big thank you to Jarred for being my second shooter and Sam for giving my name to Cal & Jac!  Enjoy xoxo.

Jim + Jenn - Married!

What to say about Jim & Jenn?....  I absolutely adore these two and I adore them together! I knew from the moment I met with Jenn for her consultation her and I were a perfect fit as photographer and bride. We're perfect fit as friends, too - seriously. love. this. girl! After their engagement session, I was even more excited to work with Jim & Jenn for their Big Day.  They are gorgeous people and their connection is an easy one to capture. Jim & Jenn's wedding gallery is the largest to date - from a giant cookie table, to the CUTEST flower girls and ring bearer, to many happy tears, to lots of sweet gift-giving, to a unique color palette, to the tightest knit family I've ever met... oh, I could go on!- this wedding was one for the books. I've actually redone this blogpost 4 times, having to eliminate images because there are just too many good ones. Mr. & Mrs. Kirker, it has been such a pleasure to capture your biggest moments together in life so far. I have no doubt that you two are in for one heck of an adventure together.  A big thanks for Micaela for being my second shooter! Enjoy lotssss of favorites!!

Note: I know there are lotssss of family who will be asking about formal pictures. This is just a sneak peek and all pictures (including the family ones) will be included in their full gallery!

Chad + Lisa - Married!

10 years ago Lisa & Chad became the cutest couple at Northern High School.  I've been patiently waiting for these two to get hitched since then and I am proud to be the photographer that captured it. It's funny to think that although they have already been together for as long as some marriages, Chad was still so nervous and giddy during their first reveal, as if they had just started dating a month ago. They always have the biggest grins when they are together, they do not try to be perfect, they joke like they are best friends, and they have respect the others' wants and dreams. Love like theirs is eternal; something we all should strive for. Between a beautiful venue, a first reveal, unposed loving moments between Chad & Lisa, sunflowers at sunset, & all in all just a good looking group of friends and family, this was certainly a favorite of mine. I wish you both the happiest life together and I swear I am not getting antsy for you to have babies......................  Enjoy (many, many, many) favorites <3

Nate + Kait - MARRIED!

I traveled 7+ hours with my second shooter to capture Nate & Kait tie the knot in an intimate ceremony that overlooked Lake Placid.  It was BREATHTAKING. This wedding was one of the most entertaining and heart warming experiences. I knew after their engagement session that Nate & Kait didn't take much seriously, so you will notice that for every "serious" shot there will be a silly one to accompany it. The wedding day came together beautifully with two gorgeous venues, vows that were personalized by the couple themselves, a lot of touching moments, and - of course - a TON of laughs. Nate & Kait are truly two peas in a pod (their names even rhyme!!) and I am anxiously awaiting the adventures they have together. Enjoy my biggest wedding gallery to date. Here are some favorites!  (Big thanks to Jarred for second shooting this wedding with me!)

Brandon & Stephanie

I can't say enough about Brandon & Stephanie.  When I had met with Steph for a wedding consultation, I instantly loved her. I didn't meet Brandon until the day of the wedding but I knew immediately that these two were a perfect match. Their big day was full of sweet family moments & personal touches that went beautifully with their rustic theme. I need to say a big thank you to this wedding party, Brandon & Stephanie for dealing with my crazy ideas and impromptu picture moments for six hours, haha! Shout out to Micaela for great shots of the guys and reception!
